Probably shyer than most eighteen year olds out there. Cause of that I find I'm often alone a lot. It's been this way for a long, long time and I kinda don't want to be anymore, so I've been trying to like for the past two years really to improve, and I have. I have a good deal of friends but I'm a tad uncomfortable inviting a lot of them to go do stuff.   Anyway, though, I'm kinda getting frustrated that I haven't had much if any experience with girls, and I'm turning nineteen in September and I think it's just kinda sad I haven't met anyone that I've really liked. This past semester I even went to meetings of a club where I thought I'd meet some girls with similar interests to my own and I still didn't find anyone.   One of my friends said a great place to meet girls of similar interests are at concerts (any type) since you'll obviously share music tastes. I just don't know how that would work with me. So I dunno, I guess the point was to ask if you guys knew how I could go about meeting people without having to go into the party scene? I don't drink or dance and am rather uncomfortable at parties that have either...so I don't think that's the ideal social outlet for me. Sorry for being long winded, I feel like I have to explain myself a lot...=/ I hope it's not too much...

Replies metrico Posted at 8:01 pm on July 19, 2008 I've been grocery shopping and I never really seen people my own age shopping at the same time, lol. Also, I'd never just ask a stranger for their number like that, that's just crazy. Also, pretty sure no girl would ever give one I dunno, I just have a hard time in terms of compatibility with people due to my interests and hobbies, I think.
