Hey so I'm a guy and I'm going to be a senior this year.  I have a girlfriend now that I've been dating for about 2 months and she is going to be a freshman at college.  The college is about 2 hours away and Idk how much I would really be able to see her.  I mean she is going to be an engineering student and the guy to girl ratio in that program is like 10 to 1.  I guess my question is: Can relationships like this really work out for the best?

Thanks for opinions,

They can work out, easily. If it's really love.

It might or might not. Depends on where her "head" is. College is a whole lot of temptation espically if your in a relationship w/someone who lives afar. You need to have a serious talk b4 she goes off about where you guys are gonna go and be. I mean at 2 months your not that deep in so just plan for the worst. I've known people who have made it work in college and those who havnt.

I understand your angst.  If she is into you at the same level as you are her there will be nothing that can come between you.  What are the chances of this happening?  Unfortunately pretty slim in my opinion.

Just keep her interested in you. Keep her on her toes. Do things with her. If you trust her, then stay around.

You should definitely bring it up lightly.
