| Come on girls, does it need to officially be called date or not? Like, you are with the guy and go "Ok, wait, before we take off...is this officially a date or not?" I mean, date or not, why would it matter? You are just going out to have a good time and if things NATURALLY occur, so what? Call it whatever you want, a relationship might come out of it and if not, you will have a friend you know you can have fun with and score a free movie, free meal, gifts, etc. |

| He's just being friendly to the new person, it could be a date you'll find that out when you get there. If he wants to go out with you just say yeah or no depending on how you feel about him. |

Could go either way really. Just ride it out. If he tries to make a move on you just make it clear that you went into this with the intent of making friends, not boyfriends.
Ok thanks i dont want to offend him by rejecting him if he thinks its a date and i dont want to embarrass us both by saying it clear as if i was assuming that its a date, if it isnt. |

| have no expectations. maybe hes just being nice. maybe he wants it to be a date. but since you dont know, just take it as it comes. if you end up liking him, then good for you. if not, you can just be friends. |
