So I met this guy named Chris over the summer. We met over facebook, and he goes to my college and he lives like 5 minutes away from me, plus is friends with everyone i am friends with at school and knows A LOT of same people i know from back home. I met him once, and I thought he was ok. nothing special. from that point atleast once or twice a week he would ask what I would be doing at night. he always said his friend was having a party and wanted to know if i wanted to go. I never wanted to hang out with him, because I was shy, and i really dont care for some of the people he hangs out with at home. so we met back up once we got to school. Sometimes he would ask to hang out at a party and I wouldnt want to go and he yelled at me and called me self conscious, but then we ended up messing around at a party that i did go to. Than one night he told me he liked me. At first I wasnt sure that I liked him, but brought up having a relationship. and than he pulled the whole "I cant be in a relationship" So than one night I went to a party and got wasted and told him that I hated him when he texted me asking what i was doing. He tried to call me the next day and asked me out on a date, but i never texted back. I was so mad. anyways, finally we talked and he told me that he couldnt be in a relationship because he just wanted to have fun and couldnt give what he gives to a girl right now, but wanted to remain friends. So i told him that we couldnt mess around anymore. anyways...so we still continued to mess around 3 weeks later when i went to hang out at his house for parties. but If I ever talk to another guy he pulls my friends aside telling them that i'm either being mean or if i like the guy i'm talking to. But whenever i'm not at a party of his or its not at night, he has no respect for me. I'll text him asking him what he's doing and he either wont respond or he'll text back and we'll have a lame conversation. but if he asks me what i'm doing, i'll tell him and either he'll say what hes doing or he says nothing back. So whats the point of even asking if your not gonna say nething back. So one day I asked him if he wanted to go to walmart with me and he said for me to call him in 30 min b/c he was at the frat house. I called him like he wanted me to and got nothing back. So i told him that i didnt want to be friends with him anymore if he was never going to follow through with anything and 2 days later he called asking if i was mad at him. we talked about it. So halloween week he asked if i wanted to help him pick out his halloween costume, i said sure. so we went and of course halloween we messed around. were friends, So i invited him to my sorority formal. he said yes, but I still dont trust him that he'll follow through. I had to call him yesterday to ask what he wanted to eat at the formal and he never picked up his phone. So i texted 3 hrs later and he asked what the choices were and i told him and he never got back to me, so i just chose for him. I have NO idea what is going on. How can he have no respect for me or randomly ask what im doing and say nothing back? but than go to flirting with me if I am at a party with him or get jealous if I talk to other people or text flirty messages to me? he is def not a player. I kno for a fact he has a hard time talking to girls, so I never see him talking to girls, but I dont get it. I know stuff about him. I see his good qualities when we talk. He knows how to treat a girl sometimes. I just dont understand why he has to go on and off with me? any Ideas on what i should do? I feel like I should let him know he has no respect for me now, but we have formal in 2 weeks and i already paid for him so i dont want him not to go. but its like. I can move on, but If i do w/out knowing what hes wants out of me, i would feel like shit if he found out i was talking to another guy. just let me know what u all think of this guy? and what u think he wants out of me.

Replies nik1 Posted at 11:15 am on Nov. 11, 2008 Sounds like to me that you are really answering your own questions.  He sounds like a bit of a psycho to me.  Why would you want to be with anyone that is so difficult to get along with?  Doesn't make sense to me.   Obviously the relationship is not going anywhere and you don't sound like you care if it does or not.   Cut your losses and tell him you are tired of playing his games and find someone else to go to the formal.
