Is it true that my crush might look to me, thinking I'm better looking or cooler now that I'm an RA?

I realize this is a bad question, but honestly...Would he lookat my differently than before? (good or bad?)  He applied to be an RA but he didn;t get it.

Is it possible he might be angry that I got it?

Lol I'm not sorry I don't find the need to use correct English on a forum site. The only reason U are still arguing with me is b/c ur an RA ,go figure. I 'm just stating what MOST college students think of them. Big deal...

If you want to be taken seriously, then I suggest you DO speak proper English. I don't care if this is a website, or a porn video. If you want to be taken seriously, in this world, you speak properly. Fact.

And, no, I'm not arguing. I'm standing up against the lies. And, I'm not an RA, anymore. I was. But I got a better job.

And, until you can prove that 'most' (once you make a 'most' or 'all' or 'many' assertion, you must prove it) colleges think that way, of us, then you've got nothing but an opinion, bigoted as it may be.

Tigressa is right. It's hard to take someone seriously when they sound unintelligent. If I were an employer and looked at someone's MySpace or Facebook and they sounded like an idiot, I wouldn't hire them. It's an all-or-nothing kind of deal. You're either a fool all the time, or a proper speaker all the time.

That's y I said maybe she's a rare cool one. U overly defensive cry baby. It's not my fault most of the RA's on my old campus were boring, weird or do-gooders, and only a small percentage actually talked to the students, and allowed us to breathe.

Babydoll, let's try speaking in English. "U" is not proper English.

Secondly, I'm not defensive, nor a cry baby. Nice of you to assume things, but let's try a bit of maturity, and not. Thirdly, I'm only trying to sway the viewpoint that RA's are assholes. We're not. We're just following rules. Guess what? We signed a contract, and it's the same as your lease. If we don't follow it, we could get fired, similarly, if you don't follow yours, you could get kicked out of housing. Fact. Don't expect us NOT to report you, if you're breaking a rule. We're only doing what we're told to do. Rules don't have exceptions.

No usually RA's are frowned upon by fellow colleagues. Because most are snitches, or people who were picked on in highschool so now they abuse they're authority Or just plain old weird.

Or, perhaps, if you DON'T live in stereotypical, asshat-world, the RA's are seen as people, too, b/c that is what we are.

I wasn't ever picked on, in high school. In fact, I was rather popular. I don't 'snitch'. I follow the rules. And I expect my floor mates to do it, too. We both have contractual obligations to adhere to.

jkjk11 Posted at 8:52 am on Aug. 19, 2008
I don't think it'll make too much of a difference
penguinsrule Posted at 8:48 am on Aug. 19, 2008
He could be jealous, but being an RA wouldn't make me hot for anybody XD. I'd see them as an authority figure and probably hate them for it bahahah
