"But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people." Ephesians 5:3 (NIV) If a hint, is anything that gets you closer to the answer (sex outside of marraige), than I think masturbation is a sin. Anyway, since I don't want to do it, I have a bit of a problem. I'm masturbating in my sleep. I'm not talking about 'wet-dreams' or 'nocturnal emissions' where it just comes out, i'm actually masturbating in my sleep just like someone who walks or talks in their sleep. I would actually love to have a wet dream, because then i would know that i didn't do it myself. I am always like halfway asleep halfway awake, where I know what I'm doing, but I can't do anything, I can't even say anything. Second of all, what seems to be going on during your sleep is actually probably stress releasing itself. Try extra exercise during the day. I have recently been studying this phenomenon, which is not uncommon. Its called sexomnia. I wake up to my partner doing this at times. He states he's not aware of it happening, but when finances are tougher or things are more stressful, it happens. I'm only frustrated because it wakens me.
