okay so my problem is when i try to run my car I can turn the engine over but it won't start running then i tried pumping the gas pedal to see if that would help and it ran only as long as i pumped the pedal but if i hold the gas pedal down it stalls & quits anyone tell me what this problem might be caused by?

sounds like your starter motor might be playing up, or youve got a fuel intake problem. Phone up your local service garage and ask them if they've got a better idea.
