Ever since I started college, and this may sound weird, I've had a sensitivity to light. I get headaches, under fleurescent (spelling) lighting. I squint, despite being able to see properly through my 20/20 contacts. Often, more than not, I spend my time in darkness. Or, at least, with a little nightlight on. But, I get these headaches, when lights are on. What is this?

TigressaLynnMae Posted at 7:38 pm on Sep. 24, 2008 with the fluorescent lights ONLY?  Not outside in the sunshine?  The fluorescent bulbs are probably not flashing fast enough and you're about to have a seizure, get the fuck outta that room! No, it's not just with fluorscent lights. But it's worse with them. I wear sunglasses, outside, even if the sun is just peeking through the clouds. And, no, no seizures. These only occur when lights are on. And I feel like a vampire, because I read in the dark. I got so used to night reading, so to say, that my eyesight is better at night, than during the day, without my contacts, and, sometimes, even with. I know you're not supposed to read in the dark, and stuff, but I do, and it actually feels good. I hate this, b/c everywhere I go, there's lights. :P I can't escape the light.
