Part 1:

Mona dropped by the fourth level of alpha bay to check on her son. It had been four days since the commencement of her son's bio-construction. It was 4 pm SRET (Saturnian Relative-to-Earth time).
A tall man in tight white clothing greeted her when the elevator doors opened. They exchanged places and Mona proceeded to room 404.

^There are simply too many fours in my life,^ thought Mona.
^Oh? Why is that?^ Replied Pete, speaking to her via ThinkTalk.
^Who knows, maybe its my lucky number.^

Mona stopped at the door to room 404, which was a certified bio-construction site. Because of this, she was scanned at the door and nodes were placed on parts of her body, creating Quarantine Space a couple of inches around her.
The door opened and Mona stepped inside. In the center of the room was a large transparent tube containing various swirling liquids and globs of unidentifiable solids. It looked as if an active blender had topped onto its side without spilling.
Surrounding the tube were robotic arms and rods extending from the floor. Their movements incredibly fast and agile, reaching in and out of different areas of the transparent tube. They penetrated the translucent barrier as if it were made of some kind of liquid like water.

"Ah Mona, welcome," came a voice from the corner of the room. It belonged to a balding man in tight white clothing, sitting on a chair in front of an unconventional monitor.
"Hello Robert," replied Mona. "How's my little angel coming along?"
"All systems nominal, ma'am. Though we ran into a little trouble last night when your "little angel" decided his white blood cells were too smart to be tricked by our stem programs."
"Oh really? Must be his father's ruthlessness showing," laughed Mona.
"Yes. Well we were easily able to reassure your son's white blood cells by altering their DNA. The entire process only took an hour or so, and our stem programs started back up immediately."
"Good. Very good. Looks like I'm not paying you guys for nothing after all," joked Mona.
Robert looked away, hiding his emotion and turned back to Mona.
"Mona.. I know you are very much against the Godchildren ideology.."
"Farce, more like," sneered Mona.
"..Even so, Mona.. You have to understand that the future is Godchildren. The industry; humanity is embracing genetic purity unlike ever before. It is only a matter of time-"
"-I don't care, Robert. You know why I chose this for my son."
"Yes but, isn't it slightly contradictory that you're getting him bio-constructed like this?" Questioned Robert cautiously.
"Robert, I am not rearing a child! There is absolutely no way I would risk having a miscarriage or a disorder in infancy just because I wanted to have an all natural baby. In fact, I don't even know of a doctor who performs traditional maternity operations!"
"Okay. Alright. I understand Mona. I do apologise."
"No, I'm sorry, Robert," replied Mona, sighing. "I know how difficult it must be for some people to understand why I am doing this. But this is something I simply must do. And nobody is going to get in the way of this."
