It's a common question, what is the meaning of universe? Where can I find meaning in my life? The answer is so deceptively simple that very few can ever find it. What to look for, where to begin? Many possible answers have been put forward; religion, love, or even the thought that there is no meaning at all. We are simply an accident, combinations of other accidents that were never meant to be, that developed in a single split second of everlasting time.

But they are all wrong. Or rather they are all right, but simply contained within another, greater meaning. The meaning of life, the universe and everything, to quote another, can be found in imagination, in creativity. These are the things within a person that cannot be said to be biological, genetic or even an accident. And yet if they are an accident, they are certainly a beautiful one. The secret to life is this, held within four words,

once upon a time,
