| I don't think it really matters if the job is low paying or not. I think for any job interview you should dress professionally. At the same time, you shouldn't look like you're going to a party either! |

I agree - it is impossible to overdress for an interview. If you're worried about being over the top wear black pants, a nice shirt and a blazer. |

| I am of the opinion that it is impossible to overdress for a job interview. A button down shirt and nice pants should be enough (techies, especially, aren't expected to wear suits, I don't think), and it is up to you if you want to add a tie or jacket. But, as someone who does a lot of job interviews, I would never look down upon someone who was trying to impress me, so don't worry about overdoing it. |

| Either black slacks or khakis. Black or brown NICE shoes. Long sleeved button down shirt with a matching tie. It will seal the deal. |
