(its a front desk position at my college)

Replies doubletrouble2 Posted at 3:22 am on May 16, 2008 The interview is conducted within the first five seconds. They know almost everything they need to know from your application. It's the first five seconds that get you the job. Big smile, but a profesional one, not some doofy happy baby smile, a real one. Slightly widened eyes(awake, alert, excited, but not crazy), smooth walk(you have control and confidence), Neat looking clothing, hair, teeth...and probably most important is smell, not too much fragrance, but not too little. Don't go for a strong hand shake, go for a sturdy one. Wipe your face with your hands just before you go in to remove excess oil. Speak with confidence in a clear steady voice. And answer questions as quikly as possible, and ask them as well, even if you don't care about the answer. Good luck. And btw, I do interviews so i can help you a lot if you need it.
