buy some vacuum seal storage bags (the kind that you suck the air out of with a hoover) pack your things into this and you will have an amazing amount of things packed, and not creased, when you get to your destination you can also use space bag storage bags. If you don't want to do this, start off your case with the largest items on the bottom, pack underwear and socks etc inside shoes, and put all small items around the edges of the case, with towels etc on top, roll up swimwear, etc into any nooks and cranny's. (but the space bags are still your best bet) |

| Man, you knew this was coming, why didn't you take ust a tad bit of forethought? Are any of your parents coming with you to drop you off? If so, you can have two more bags andake them take their stuff in a carry-on. I suggest organizing your things. Make sure you don't have any dirty laundry, then sort things into piles of clothes you can't live without, clothes you like, and clothes you could take or not. Pack the ones you love and need first, then your essential items, then start packing the rest of your clothes. Remember not to do one suitcase all heavy things like shoes and one clothes, because each bag can only be 50 lbs. Bring what essentials you can pack (towels, books, hangars, a lamp, toiletries, etc) but at this late in the game i suggest just buying most of your stuff when you get to AZ. Your college should have sent you a list of all the things you'll need like bedding, floor covering, maybe curtains, and things you might not be allowed like microwaves. Oh, and remember you get two carryons, so you can pack a bit in there too. Good luck! |
