Replies walktheline Posted at 4:08 pm on July 28, 2008 I wouldn't worry about it if its only been a month. If it was bad enough for you have to get stitches it's going to take awhile for it to heal. Try using a lotion with shea butter and/or one of the scar creams (mederma?) to soften the scar and make it less noticable. I have a really bad burn scar on my arm and it took a couple of months for me to be able to bend my arm normally because of the scar.
