I had never taken them before ever, and I didn't even plan on doing them that day. I was having a shitty day so I started drinking, I only had 4 beers but I tried to make the most of them by chugging them. I got a little head change but it wasn't enough. I had stolen a pack of CCCs a few days ago and was planning on trying them later in the week, but I figured what the hell why not do them now. I knew the consequences of mixing the too but I didn't care. About 10 mins after my 4th beer I popped 8 Cs and started to wait. I went on myspace and fucked around a little bit. About an hour had past and I wasn't feeling anything expect for the beers I had drank. Then my buddy Robert came over and I started to notice a body change. He is a pretty experienced CCC taker and told me I should up 2 more pills. So I take another 2 pills (10 total now). A few mins later I think the initial 8 started to hit me. I remember saying "this must be the Cs, because I have never been this fucked up off 4 beers." He just laughs and says ya. I'm really starting to enjoy the high by now, and I keep wanting to take it higher and higher. So I pop 2 pills every 45 mins. Before I know it my whole pack of 16 is completely out. I'm good for awhile, but after about 4 hours from when I first got high I notice I start getting the freak outs and I start panicking. This happens a lot when I'm on certain drugs, namely pills so I just decide that I need to come home. When I come home I have a completely sober-like full on conversation with my mom. She has no clue how fucked up I am. I talk to her for about 20 mins and I go back on the computer. The whole world is spinning and when I get up I can barely walk. I feel like I'm in a new reality. For some reason the whole world feels different and very gloomy, I think everybody is plotting against me. And I feel really ugly for some reason, and that the whole world hates me. I actually start getting a little suicidal at this point, but I keep reminding myself I'm on a mind altering drug and I need to calm down. I start talking to my gf on msn, she has no idea that I'm on anything. She does however say I am acting a little strange, but I'm keeping my composure for the most part. The computer starts getting boring and I'm starting to get really restless. I try to lay down, but my legs feel like they want to move, and I can feel my heart exploding out of my chest. I decide to put my ipod on and I start listening to some techno music. My god was that amazing. It was like I could feel the music, and my mind was like a tunnel vision and the thoughts and images went with the music. It was like I was exploring my mind. It looked like a futuristic world full of colors. After awhile I decide that it's time to go to bed. Considering I have to wake up for work at 4:30 in the morning the next day. So I eventually fall asleep. When I wake up I feel a little body high but nothing like it was yesterday, I'm a little wobbly but eventually I start to sober up. It was a pretty good trip for the most part. I do however think it was really stupid of me to mix alcohol my first time trying them, and also for taking 16 pills on my first time as well. I'm thinking I easily was in a high second plateu or atleast a low third plateu. I was really fucked up and so out of it. I want to try them again pretty soon, but I think I'll be a little smarter about it this time.

Replies hokie Posted at 1:17 pm on Sep. 16, 2008 I'm not saying they're better, because they're the same thing. I'm saying most gelcaps are safe and don't have the risk of killing you at worst. But CCC's usually contain more mg per pill than, say, Robitussin Cough Gels (which I use), so that means you'll have to take a lot of them to get a really good trip. There are other dxm-only containing pills out there that have a lot of dxm per pill, but they're tougher to find. Everything else contains harmful active ingredients that don't make the trip worth the risk involved. You could also always buy pure dxm-containing pills online (never looked, don't know how easy it is to do so) or perform an extraction yourself (also never done or looked up to know how easy that is to perform, either). It has other active ingredients you don't want in your body at high doses. If you take enough, your liver will fail and you could even die. If you don't want to chug syrup like most of us, just get something like Robitussin Cough Gels. But it sure does make for a great trip. Get some robitussin softgels instead, seriously. Coricidin has an ingredient (an anticholinergic, chlorphenamine) in it that is broken down by the same enzyme as dxm. What this means for your body is that your blood levels are increased and you can overdose. you just want to trip man, right? or maybe not even that, maybe you just want to get fucked up? you don't wanna die.
