I highly doubt that he will but hey I can always hope.
EDIT: adding a video to show his view.

Use of marijuana is relatively safe. There are no confirmed deaths caused by marijuana alone.

There is perfect reason to (even though I'd argue it isn't "attacking). Do you know why? He's acting like he does know and is being close-minded. He's just simply being proven wrong. That's all it is.

I feel fine with telling you are wrong and leaving it at that. I'm not here to convince you of anything. Sorry I'm not that interested in changing people's beliefs on any given subject. I'm just interested in stating mine. I was going to refute you with a reasoned argument, but since you apparently have so little respect for evidence that you don't even use it yourself, I'll just tell you that it is, in fact, you who is wrong. Many people die from addiction to alcohol. Alcohol is addictive in a literal, physical, sense. Not only are there withdrawal symptoms, but you can die from alcohol withdrawal alone. Marijuana, on the other hand, is significantly less physically addictive than, say, chocolate. And it is impossible to die from marijuana withdrawal or an overdose of marijuana.

Feel better now? You are still wrong you know, but whatever. I'm also interested in how you would refute me given I gave no argument.

What blows my mind is how salvia is still legal and marijuana is not.
It's not good for health.
It's better for your health than cigarettes, alcohol, and other things that are legal.

You, sir, are misunderstood, and I am living evidential proof. But alas, I can not prove to someone else my own experience, so, it looks like you'll never know the truth if you stay close-minded.

Why do you say this? Did you get addicted to it and know this from experience? Do you know friends who say they aren't addicted, but they are, so that means everybody is like that? Or is it because DARE told you that people get addicted? I've known and encountered people older than probably any living relatives you have who have smoked heavily, cut down, and aren't addicted at all. At the same time, I know people who are. Big whoop? I smoked pot 2+ times every single day for 3 months straight over the summer, and I haven't smoked in over 2 months now, and I have absolutely no craving or desire to at all. I've only stopped to save some money, and later on I'll surely start again. Only for hobby, it's an interest. Just like fishing or playing golf.

If not, however, you may see that marijuana is only as addictive as weak-minded (majority of the population) people let it to be. For "normal" people, however, it is VERY HARD if not impossible to become addicted.

If they did drug laws based on health, weed, LSD, shrooms, and mdma would be legal and alcohol and tobacco would be illegal. On topic, I doubt he will. The states will slowly legalize medical marijuana then we may see legalization or at least de-criminalization in most states. Hopefully he may decide to at least de-criminalize it because it is not a crime to begin with. Maybe 'cause it's easier to get addicted to? But you see, it's not. Whereas with alcohol and cigarettes it's easier to get addicted. Marijuana will not cause you to get addicted. People who smoke it constantly may have a chance to get mentally addicted. But that's all. Mentally. Alcoholics become physically addicted. When they try to come off they get withdrawal symptoms. For example, DTs (aka pink elephants). Cigarette smokers will find it hard to QUIT too. They become physically addicted. After searching wiki for cannabis and marijuana addiction I have failed to find any pages. If anyone can find a page on cannabis withdrawal on wiki please let me know. But they can't ban cigarettes and stuff all out of a sudden because some people won't be able to take it. However, marijuana didn't exist for as long as cigarettes and alcohol(...right?) so it's just to prevent another addiction.

Actually there is evidence of people using marijuana from pre-biblical times.
