She scares me so much. She just came after me with a knife, running. I went in my room and closed the door behind me, she stabbed the door and started screaming at me, calling me a dumb bitch and what not. I am so scared.....I dont know what to do. Its even worse that in the morning, she has no idea. She acts like nothing happened. And shes my mom again. I cant tell my mom to her face that I dont want her drinking. My step dad drinks all the time...but then again, when he drinks, he dosnt leave the couch.

The best thing to do is to talk to her though, honestly. If she knew what she did to you, she would seek help. I know it's scary to talk to her about that, but you need to, both for your safety and for hers. I know it's hard to tell it to her face. That's normal. But it's the best thing to do. Come up to her one morning when she's sober and ask if you can talk. Say that you were really scared and you often are when she gets drunk. Tell her that you don't want anybody to get hurt and that she might cause that. I know it will be hard, but it's for your own safety. If she refuses to stop, then you need to talk to somebody, at school or somewhere. Because that's not a good environment to live in. At all. I can empathise. Yesterday my dad went on one of his drunken rampages, and he hit me in the face repeatedly. They can give you the help you need. I don't know you, nor do I care, I love you as a person and things will start looking up if you find help. It sounds like you are in danger if you continue to be around her.  If you don't want to do that, maybe you should try and reason with her when she's sober. I'm sure she'd feel bad about drunkenly attacking you with a knife.
