After a grand total of 400mg, and staying up until about 10 (I started at around 6:30), I really didn't get much of anything. I thought I heard voices at one point outside, but I think that was probably real. As far as visuals go, I just saw spots sort of flashing in my peripheral vision. Kinda cool, but I don't know.

Trying to sleep was a small chore, as my left leg was so uncomfortable for some reason, but I eventually passed out. My dreams were definitely affected, and I'm not sure if I dreamt this or not, but for the few times I may have woken up in the middle of the night, and closed my eyes before I fell back asleep, I swear I could make out very dark, very dim images of things, kind of like when I'm on DXM, but no where near as intense or as real. But close. Not for very long, either, once I really got a "good look" at them with my mind's eye, everything just turned completely dark again.

I think I'll try this again sometime, a bit more next time (not too much more) and stay up longer. I think it would have started to work more if I stayed up a couple or few hours longer. But not anytime that soon, maybe next weekend or the weekend after to give my body time to recuperate first.

Sleep.

Im going to be joining you tonight.

Also, milk increases the effects. So if you take 150mgs and a glass of milk, it will be like taking 300mgs

Well, not really. I've now popped a total of 16 pills, or 400mg. I feel really tied, my body feels like it gets tired, I feel just a tad heavy, and the only "hallucinations" are just sort of flashing dots or squiggly lines in the corner of my eye.

Would it be worth it pop for a total of 450 or 500 maybe? I prob won't though, idk, just to see how I react first 400.

Yup, sounds like it's working exactly as it should. Should you pop more? No, your going to be asleep by then.

MourningAir Posted at 6:25 pm on Nov. 14, 2008
Whatever you do, I personally would not exceed 500mg in one sitting.

You are going to be more aware of things, yet you wont want to move. I doubt you'll have any hallucinations. Get water

people either LOVE diph or they HATEEEEEEEE it.

For me, my two experiences with it were not that great. At a dose of about 300mg I experienced physical discomfort, arm and leg twitching that kept me up all night.

At about 400mg I had slight hallucinations such as seeing whispy smoke coming out of everywhere and I kept seeing a fly buzzing around but as soon as I'd reeeally look at it, it was gone.

I've talked to this dude who is hardcore into diph and he suggested I space out my dosages. Like 50mg one hour then 50 more the next etc etc supposedly that can make the experience better.

Well you'll know soon enough

Yeah, I heard that too, and am going on the chance I'll be one who loves it, haha. But, it's been maybe 45min or around there, I only feel a little light headed, that's about it. I popped 50mg more, and am thinking about 50mg more finally in maybe a half hour, just to see what happens.

Hopefully in the next 15-30min or so something start happening to where I can say something is going on. Not yet now though, just light headed.

Ibuprofen contains a ton of acetaminophen, which is toxic to your liver, probably why you threw up.

ibuprofen is a drug itself. it doesn't contain acetaminophen.

True that, my bad... The only ibuprofen I used to take contained acetaminophen, and I always put the two together. You're right though, they are different drugs. Ibuprofen will def make you throw up though anyway in high doses.

Why did you take 8 of them, and THEN ask?

You're going to throw up every thing in your stomach, including your stomach acid, maybe even pass out. (: Have fun with that one.

Pure idiocy. Prepare for a night of excruciating pain.

Actually he probably won't but good job on being a dumb bitch.

Try again. :)

You're going to throw up every thing in your stomach, including your stomach acid, maybe even pass out. (: Have fun with that one.

...For real? No, I won't actually, but thanks for assuming.

And I asked for EXPERIENCES and expectations from people here.

Yes, for real. If you take 8 of ANY medication, almost, you will more than likely throw up.

You titled this "just took 8 benadryl," if you meant otherwise, you should have stated.

No, I won't throw up. 8 of ANY medication? That's a HUGE generalization. Care to back up ANYTHING you've said? I didn't think so, because there is no proof for that illogical fallacy. For any medication, for throwing up, and for harming my body. Been reading too much DARE, eh?

And I didn't mean otherwise, and never said I meant otherwise from literally taking 8 benadryl... Because I did.

Haha. Shut the hell up. You just claimed I ASSUMED you took them, because you titled it "I just took..."

Second of all, I took 8 ibuprofen when I was 12 years old, and was greatly surprised when I spent the night over a toilet.

Oh and, last December, my boyfriend and I broke up, so I took 6 nyquil gel tablets to sleep, I slept, yeah. I also threw up so much, that the only thing coming out of my stomach was bile.

How's that one for backing it up?

Me saying I assumed was referencing your assumptions of possible negative symptoms I'll have. How was that misconstrued?

And how can you back up saying I'll throw up and have negative effects on Benadryl because you did on other medications? Ibuprofen contains a ton of acetaminophen, which is toxic to your liver, probably why you threw up. As for Nyquil, also containing the same ingredient, if I'm not mistaken also contains guafinesen (sp?) which is purely nauseating at high doses, a definite for throwing up. If that wasn't it for the Nyquil, then maybe your body couldn't tolerate the percentage of alcohol it contains (even so low)?

I don't understand how I'll throw up from taking a light recreational dose of diphenhydramine. You'll need to have some better evidence.

Use your common sense. (: And if you're so "educated" on the subject, and are just going to deny any sort of negative reaction you will probably have, then don't make a post about it.

End.

...Common sense is telling me that the medications you took made you throw up, and Benadryl doesn't contain any ingredients that will make my body refuse it at a dose of only 200mg.

I'm denying everything in a logical manner, i.e. evidence backing it up. I'm actually being very open minded right now, you just haven't given me anything to change my mind.

And why would me being educated on doses and ingredients, and "denying" illogical fallacies, be a reason not to make a post to counter something that I apparently see as wrong?
