The problem comes in when the person is a lot more drunk than they think they are. It's fine if you and your friends are magically more cautious drivers when drunk, but the average persons judgment and reaction time gets worse as the alcohol level gets higher. Either way, I have lost a lot of friends due to that reason, Its stupid to drink drunk.
