Well if you want your doctor to label you as a evil drug abuser who then will not prescribe you anything that works, then go for it. If you didn't get high, it wouldn't work, so you already know what you do with this substance and now it's your choice to use it or not. It's going to end the same, even worse once prescribed since you can get it easily and then would have a excuse to use. Withdrawals are no fun and once you stop using, your anxiety is just going to be worse since it's not helping you learn how to deal with it. Drugs are not the answer, but you'll learn that for yourself.
not planning to take regularly just when i feel severe panic coming on. |

| Don't tell your doctor if you think you used to have a problem with them. There's no reason to volunteer unnecessary information that might get you cut off from Xanax. If you want to say that you've taken Xanax before, eh, well I just say that someone I knew would occasionally give me their Xanax for my anxiety (which is true) though not prescribed. It worked for me, though not all doctors would be this generous. Keep it to yourself, there's no need to volunteer that information. |

| I'd say do what you want. If you really think it will be a problem, tell your doctor and ask for something else. Otherwise, I'd say just wait. If you can use them for their purpose and not to get high it shouldn't be a problem. This may be harder then it sounds, however.
i dont even really use drugs anymore other than smoking weed everyday
I fucking laughed hard. Thanks for that. |

| If you start taking bars on a regular basis, you just won't get high, they'll just kick in for what they are used for. |

| Don't really do drugs anymore, other than weed everyday? Sounds like you do. And I would seek therapy first without going straight to pills. |
