I've been smoking since around September (though I smoked a couple times months before that) and for some reason, almost every time I get high, I enjoy my high and the music, food and all that good stuff, but I get such a weird feeling in my throat, kinda like I'm about to puke, or somethings in my throat (and sometimes I feel something slowly rising in my throat). I never end up puking but it's still weird, especially since I know I'm not swallowing the smoke or anything. Anyone able to shed some light on this?

I only get sick when I smoke if I overdo it, if I smoke too much or too fast...

I think your burning your throat a bit

Take smaller hits, cough less, drink between drags.  Soothing tea's are good.  try and make smoke airier by inhaling air /w smoke.  Use the shotgun once or twice extra etc.

I had that sometimes when I first started smoking.

I think it was just sore/irritated throat.

Also, I smoke a hell of a lot of pot and the hot smoke doesn't do that to my throat
Maybe you're smokin it to the point where you might be sick? aka whitey

ahh whitey! what a ledge... I'm rather disappointed that in school we've moved away from referring to it as whitey and now call it chunder, i've always preferred whitey...
