i recently took up wrestling,4 weeks ago,and we have practice 6 am m/w/f and 7pm tu/th.
ive been one of the more dedicated guys who shows up everyday.
but heres my problem
its my first sport
im so out of shape.
to top it off,im 6'1 and 220 lbs,not alot of fat,but some, its more from my body build though.
im nowhere near as strong as i should be
i dont know any moves
i dont have good cardio.
im trying hard, and ive seen small improvement.
but idk,i really wanna make something out of myself, but its SOO hard, ive been tired, sore, out of breath for weeks now.
no physical ailments, just out of shape, weak, like, weaker than someone half my size in fact.
Should i stick to it or should i give in and sit behind a computer my whole life =/,like is it just not for me?

Wrestling is a tough sport. It will humble you quickly. Remember noone ever just walked into a wrestling room and were instantly a great wrestler. Everyone starts somewhere just like you are doing. You will get stronger as you go, physically and mentally. As far as your cardio, you need to do more than what you guys are doing in your room. When you get home you need to run on your own, and jump rope for a while ( 2 minutes on, stance for 1 minute, jump for 2, ball up for 1, etc. ) Moves will come but you need to drill hard for hours, they will become second nature before you know it. Believe me there are many first year guys who could tell you how many lights were out in the gym. Just keep plugging man, you'll get it.
