He's got endless awards and recognitions now. He also lead Punahou to Hawaii's state championship and won. He's Top 10 overall, 5-star recruit and was basically recruited by everyone from USC to Florida to Auburn to Notre Dame. He narrowed it down to USC, Notre Dame, BYU, Stanford and UCLA. He kills on the field. He's a good kid too.
Quote: from runthespread at 4:21 am on Dec. 29, 2008 He didn't choose USC or anyone yet. He's just down to his final 5. Punahou does have talent but not always. This class was exceptional, they usually lose in the ILH to Saint Louis. This was their first state title in football. This year's offense definitely was sick though with Cayman Shutter (Hawaii), Dalton Hilliard (UCLA), Roby Toma (UCLA), Kimo Makaula (Hawaii), etc. Seriously, though, the more I watch footage on Manti Te'o, the more I realize how good he really is. He's a straight beast. yeah they were all pretty good didn't saint louis not lose a GAME For like ten years?

haha I'm not sure about the record. They did dominate the state for quite some time, though. And they've put out a bunch of D1 QBs...Arceneaux, John Hao, Gesser, Timmy Chang, Jeremiah Masoli, etc. Definitely well known football school.

USC is in his top 5 but the other two Big-10 schools aren't. I don't agree with a few of his choices but Stanford and UCLA do offer a good education and BYU favors his being Mormon.hes prob going BYU OR USC most likely Yeah, I'd hate for him to go to BYU though. Charlie Weis has been trying to recruit him hardcore too. It'd be cool if he went to USC because Punahou has more kids coming in each year than any other high school in the country so he could represent, and USC just picked up another good LB out of Kapolei High School in Hawaii as well. Yeah, i'd hate for it too but around here in Hawaii everybody pretty much figures it Dude's pretty coola nd allb ut yeah and i know they picked up a linebacker i played in hawaii asa receiver and now i'm in college....never got a chance to play against oldboy but seen him play before when i went to go watch a friend of mine play against one of the OTHER ILH schools, before the punahou leilehua game

Oh nice. Punahou looked good this year, lots of talent. I wish I could see Te'o play.
