low talent mix? are you serious? half the people cant do the routines, tumbling and stunts cheerleaders do. its very physically demanding and you have to in pretty good shape to do half the things they do. i was a gymnast for 12yrs and i cheered for 2yrs and cheerleading may not be 'mainstream sport" but NOT "low talent mix of gymnastics and dancing" i would like to see you try to do half the things.

Competitive cheerleading is more of a U.S thing, I think.

what people see actully isnt half of what we do
its actully not considered a sport in my school
but it is in some

depends which angle you look at it from. it can be competetive so, i would assume that makes it a sport.

yes, it is a physical activity with a competitive element.
