so i'm gonna probably start applying for places near me, but i've never worked anywhere before...i think i need like a workers permit or something, i'm 16...i dont really know...does anyone know if i need that or anything else?

What's a workers permit. In Australia all you need is a tax file number and a bank account most of the time.

Try catering such as kitchen helper/asisstant/hand and waitor. They take on 14 year olds.

You don't need a workers permit. You are 16.  In general you just can't work past 9 on a school night and not more than 20 hour per week.

you can get the worker's permit at the courthouse, you'll need your social security card and your mom or dad there with you. it's like $5 or something, so it's cheap. other than that I don't think there's anything else you need. if there is, I'm sure your mom or dad can tell you, or the employer will let you know.
