I applaud you for taking on such a responsibility! My aunt works in a group home, for the mentally ill. And my brother in autistic. It's so sad seeing these people, so close to what we refer to as "normal" but just far enough away to land them there. Elaine sounds like a sweetheart. I hope you take extra special care of her. |

| I worked at a Lutheran Home before (pretty much a retirement home)... It was probably one of the worst experiences of my life to be honest. I quit after only 2 months of being there, and that was only because I kept putting off that I was going to tell them I was quitting. I worked in the kitchen though, so maybe it's different. The smell of it all was just terrible too haha. Glad you are enjoying it though |
