So im a Freshman. And I was going to start working in the summer but I never did. Now my family is having financial strain and im thinking about getting a job.

My schhool day starts at 8am and I dont get out until 3:16. I don't get home until 3:40.

I usually have a good amount of homework and essays to do.

Do you think it would be a good or bad idea for me to get a job 1 month into the school year?

Freshman in high school?
Can you even get a half decent paying part time job at that age?

Either way, it'd be hella stressful. Give it another month to think it over, and to see if school gets harder. If you find yourself with enough spare time to say, get on LW, then you can probably get a job.

If I were you, I'd consider taking babysitting courses if you haven't already. It generally won't require you being at a place in a repetitive schedule week after week, your income varies, and the hours you work are primarily based on your schedule.
