So i'm in college now and the money I saved up during the summer is going wayyy too fast. I need to get a job again fast and the easiest option is just going back to my old job as a waitress. I'm almost 100% sure they'd have me back but the thing is I really hated working there. It's pretty tough finding work these days so I'm worried if I don't go back i'll end up with no job :(

Look for other jobs. But go to the old job if you really need the money soon. You can always quit (as bitchy as that sounds).

I say take it for now for the money, and continue to look for something you would enjoy more.

Yeah, they know you there and it's a pretty secure job

You may not like it, but it's guaranteed.  Consider yourself lucky that you have a secure position
