I'm seriously considering joining. I'm a senior in high school and will probably end up doing the delayed entry program.

My question is, are any of you in the Marine Corp, and if you are, what is your MOS? How do you like it? Do you regret joining?

Also man in addition to my pm, your absolute best option is to get a degree before joining any branch of the armed services.

Do you know what some of my previous commanding officers did on an average day?

Left everything to the NCOs and Staff NCOs and went to the gym.

There's a reason that the officers in my unit are all buff as hell, they have a shitload of free time. They also get better pay, better benefits, better housing, better food, and more respect and more authority.

Additionally, Officer's can't be non judicially punished, and they get away with a shitload, if you think officers don't party as much as enlisted men then you're crazy they get just as drunk, just as high, and they have better means to get away with it.

Officer is definitely the way to go if you want a military career.
