ok so I just got this new job and they are making me go to the city to do this training thing. Now I have this pretty creepy manager. And he doesnt even do a good job at being manager. He didnt even tell me WHERE in the city I have to be. I asked him what kind of stuff I should wear to this training thing and he said "dredd as if you were going to meet the president." Now, I would just wear jeans and a T to meet the president. Then my manager told me "no jeans."

So here's the problem...I dont have any other pants besides jeans. Well, I have these casual white shorts, but it is going to rain today and it is probably freezing in the city. I was thinking I could wear a skirt but there is still the whole cold issue...and it is a pretty short skirt.

Should I just go ahead and wear my nicest pair of jeans and risk getting yelled at? I really dont have any other options...the only formalish think I have is my old prom dress.

Smart trousers and a blouse or even a t-shirt but don't wear jeans or a short skirt.  I think a prom dress would be over dressing.
