I was earning $14.46 as a turret truck operator at a fastener distributor warehouse. But I've been a sub-contractor for Comcast for the past few years and have never gotten paid by the hour. Since it's contract, I get paid per appointment/visit and with a route of 8 - 10 appointments per day, each paying $25 - $55+ per job, I rank in between $800 - $1600 a week. Keep in mind this is no taxes taken out, so youhave to fill out you 10-99 at the end of the year.
Is that you? You look kind of bored, but that is good money. Do you install cable?
No that's not me. My pic is in my image album. It's pretty exciting since you go very high up in the racks with the lift and if you know the machine very well and move smooth, you can make it look like the swing reach does all the work itself. Currently I am a 10-99 sub-contractor for Comcast. |

| Depends. Here, for a job (rather than "career", if that differentiation make sense), many employers pay minimum wage, which is about $8 (CAN). However, I have a job on campus paying $13 an hour. It really varies. |
