I'd suggest asking for a cut in hours per week rather than per pay period. Unless you have some weird schedule where you work certain days/hours every other week. The word week makes it sound a bit more easily organizable. Or you could ask to just work 3 or 4 days per week instead of dealing with larger number like people don't seem to like doing.
I get every other weekend off, so i wasn't sure how to word it.
I'd suggest then that you just ask for an extra day off each week that you would normally work. That way it sounds much more regular and can remove some confusion of figuring out which weeks you'd have whatever extra day off and which weeks you'd have a different extra day off. |

| It's worded fine. But work on your grammar and punctuation. |
