call them they will never call you
Really now? Explain why I have an interview to get to in less than 2 hours when I didn't call them. From an online application less than 2 weeks ago. But, calling can actually be a good idea. |

40 days??? Did you mean 4? My first job was Chick-fil-a, but it was easy to get on there because they were just opening. Even though fast food jobs pretty much suck, if you work there for a while then it's easier to get a different job because you at least have some working history.

well if they're meant to take 40 days and it's only been about 17/18 shouldn't you just hang in there? Failing that, just keep your eye out whenever you go past shops and stuff, looking in windows for ads etc or go in and ask pretty much everywhere. I was just lucky enough to look in the window of a shop on the right day

you should definitely call back any prospective employers, ask if they've had any time to check your resume and if they have any questions.. i got my first job by putting in a resume. dairy queen, gross.

I applied to a few places. I called them back. One place called me. We set up an interview. They hired me. I've been working for a year.
