& It made me think of how glad I am that the shitty economy doesn't effect anyones obsessions/love for their pets and that I will always have a job because of this.

I work in animal boarding/daycare/grooming/etc and all of our clients are recurring clients that our staff has grown to know quite well so they bake us cookies, bring us in food, get us cards/gift cards, etc...and always bring their dogs in so I always have mad hours to work, and to spend time with my furry friends.

So, the economy can kiss my ass.

In all reality, having a poor economy doesn't always effect everyone, and it doesn't always effect everyone the same. No matter how bad the economy gets, there will always be people with a disposable income and there will always be people willing to spend their money on things they don't really -need-.

Well, lucky you, but the rest of us still have to worry. I doubt you'll keep your job forever, so you'll have to worry one day too.

The economy is the reason you still live like a mole-person in a cramped single room inside someone's house.

Our room is ridiculously big, what are you referring to?

If it gets bad enough, it will affect your job.
Well if any of them were the least bit concerned, they would be saving their money instead of boarding their dogs for $45 a night, buying them our homemade dog treats, buying my co-workers and I gifts, clothes-shopping for their dogs, etc

You love the lush lifestyle huh? Too bad you're not in it. The economy can still kick your ass.

Did I say I loved it? No, I said I loved having a job that hasn't been effected by the economy, nice job trying to put words in my mouth though

I don't have a cramped room, in the least, and I live in someone elses house because she's the mother of my boyfriends friend and doesn't want to fuck her over and is trying to sort out his credit issues thanks to his appendix going bad.

Nothing to do with the economy, really.

You think so huh?
Soon people wont care so much about grooming their dogs as they do feeding their bellies.

Considering the type of people they are, tha won't ever be the case.

Mostly rich, older people who can't have kids/have older children and their pets are their world.
