Every year the upperclassmen need to take a 3 month long internship to find out what they want to do with their lives.

I found an amazing fashion designer  next door to a local coffee place I like to go to. Anyway, she's completely independent, not very well known, and as far as I know, she just opened her showroom there. She's probably not looking for an intern, but who wouldn't like some free help? I think I could really learn a lot from her...about the business. and maybe even make connections.

So, I was thinking I could just go in with my resumé and application...and ask. Basically, "Hello, I'm great, I work hard...and you will love me." Kidding.

Yeah its always easier getting internships with those places because they LOVE free help. And its usually better because you get more work to do then at a bigger place.

Go for it!

Yesssss, you should definitely go and find out. And don't tell her about the things you want, let her know what good things you could do for her!

Send your resumé and even if she's not really interested now, seeing that you're interested she might like the idea.
