Just Waiting Here Posted at 8:06 pm on July 9, 2009
Money trouble is really horrible, and rather stressful, and when I thought it was bad enough, it got worse.

It started off with a three dollar pay cut per hour, which may not have affected me depending on how my company dealth with it.  Then a situation came up where I might have had to move out from this place, which I can't afford.  I work where I live, and it's the only way I can put myself full-time through school and afford everything... and if I had only a month to move out, and with the economy the way it is, there's no guarantee I could find another job.  But... thankfully it seems I might stay here...

Of course, I come home today to find out that they won't be dropping my paycheck by 3 dollars an hour.  That's great right?  Wrong.  Instead, I get to get IOUs from the state until October.  Even better still, banks won't honor them... Better still, apparently it's in effect right now... so I just found out I won't be getting paid for the next four months...

Thankfully I have another job until school starts at the end of August, and my sister is starting her new (non-state) job at mid August... so if we get that far, we can get by...  Not to mention they'll reduce my financial aid and give me IOUs for that as well, most likely...

*Sigh* Anyone else having the economic crisis affect them?
