| It's much better to purchase the domain from a separate registrar (preferably one dedicated to domain registration). Less hassle (though you have to configure some stuff manually), less likely to "lose" ownership of the domain if relations with your host sour, etc... You should be able to transfer all the information from your old site to your new one. After all, web formatting is an open source method. Just view source and copypasta if all else fails. |
