Do you know whether its x64? I had some problems with the drivers there were on the disk for my Lexmark printer. It installed the XP x64 drivers, and said it worked, but it wouldnt print (just like your issue). When I got the newest drivers off their website (the ones for Vista x64) it worked fine. Oh, make sure you have their software installed to. Lexmark printers are touchy about that.

Uninstall the Printer. Unplug it, go to Lexmark.com and download the latest vista drivers (software). Install those drivers on the system. Plug in the Printer. If this does not work, contact Lexmark support.

When you go into the print queue does it say that the printer is offline or online. Also go into Device Manager. To do this Right click my Computer properties device manager and make sure everything is installed. Things with an exclamation mark tend to be installed but failed to start ones with a question mark aren't installed. Right click them and say update driver. follow instructions. Then reboot computer. If that doesn't work check the manual to make sure the printer works with Windows Vista
