Click.

I realize it says XP, and not Vista. But wouldn't there be a way to get that to work on Vista?

All the cams work on Vista.

However, the newer ones are UVC compliant, so they are supported natively.

That one is really old :)

The VX3000 works on vista and should only be a fraction more.

Yeah, I just explored the MS site, and they do have driver updates for 32- and 64MB versions of Vista.

Look on Microsoft's website and see if they have released Vista drivers. There has been great problems with things that worked in XP but not on Vista due to driver problems. Seeing as how it's Microsoft's own product it should probably work though.

It just so happens I have the same Webcam (that I don't use - use my iSight instead) because I got it free with my NatWest Student/Graduate account.

Yeah, figured as much. I'll take a look.

Wanna send me the cam? :P

The shipping costs for me to send it over there would be more than the cam itself bought here or there, so sadly no. I would if I could though, it's sitting here gathering dust anyway.

I would hope so since it's a Microsoft webcam, but that is also one of the really old revisions; They are on the LifeCam VX6000 now. You're better off getting one of the newer ones if you have Vista, they are only like $20 more.

$20 I don't have, unfortunately.

there's a possibility that it'll work. Vista has, to some extent, backwards compatibility. But there's no guarantee it would work.
