i have a denon cd auto changer dcm-290, but i think its broken.

it wont play and theres a screen that says the cd number and track.
when i hit play it just sort of like fast forwards through everything. like it makes a nise like its about to play and then it goes through the tracks about five seconds at a time, but doesnt play them. it just makes the noise so you know the CD is spinning...

anybody know whats wrong and how to fix it?

whats the lense?

and i know its not a problem with the CD because ive tried multiple CDs =/

Clean the cd, and clean the lense, that might be the problem. Dust on the lense. If its a scratch on the lense though, you'll need to have it replaced.
