WRONG!!! All that will happen is a little box will pop up saying that File XYZ could not be located and cannot be synced and it will list the file(s) and you click okay. Since the file is still in your library it won't remove it from your ipod. |

Only if you remove the songs from iTunes as well. If it remains in iTunes (even if the file is deleted) the songs won't be removed from your iPod.
