Lately I've been having prob. with setting up routers I had this d-link that I could not set up! Called the company and everything and still didn't work..

Anywho..tomorrow I'm goin to Future Shop and I'm thinking of getting a linksys..does anyone know of a good one. that's also easy to set up
right now I'm looking at Futureshop.ca, oh and is also fast and all..and under $100.

Any cheap linksys will do. Google "linksys setup" and just follow the directions.

Why the hell are you people saying to buy a laptop with a built-in card?

The problem is with the router, not the damn wireless chipset.  Learn to read or something about networking, not just saying whatever the fuck you wish you knew.  A new wireless chipset does not change if there is a router.

Any modern wireless router will most likely come with an easy set-up CD.  The D-Link DIR-615 I have at my apartment (decent cheap 802.11n-draft router, $40) came with one.

If you can't figure out one that came with a CD you might have to consider finding a computer technician who will overcharge you to the Max.
