| Yes, there is various sites which allow you to download them, and then install them yourself. What you have to do is, download the font, open Control Panel, click on fonts, and drag across the font. Simple The best font site out now is: http://www.acidfonts.com/ |

it isnt working. ive done both methods & they dont show up in the font folder. here is what im doing exactly: Download PC/MAC OS X - Save - Save in: Fonts - File name: Will_Grace - Save as type: Compressed [zipped] Folder & when i do open: highlight the folders - copy the selected files - WINDOWS - Fonts. any ideas on whats wrong? ]=
Did you say your downloading your font into the font folder? That won't work.
ohh. uhm i checked out the FAQ but it didnt really help /= im so stupid lol.
Where exactly do you have the mess up?
in the help, it told me save the font somewhere, so i made a new file in domument & called it fonts. then it said to go where i had it & move it to windows > fonts. this is where i get stuck. i cant move it. it will say it moved but it wont show up. ]= |

Dafont.com. Download the font you want. Place it in your font folder, which is most likely C:\WINDOWS\fonts.
Alternatively if you cannot locate, follow this: 1. Copy the font. 2. Go to your control panel, click on the font folder. Once opened, paste and it will be installed. I don't know if that's what you meant Cow, sorry if it was.
Ah, that works also. Probably a better way of doing it. I prefer to stay away from the Control Panel, as it irritates me. So I do things the hard way.
I hear you. I was starting up my computer once and (with the RAM issue) and I get into the control panel to get at my system options and the thing shuts off. |
