i was reformatting my harddrive and i accidently deleted the partitions for my external hard drives which were connected

i was wondering if the data on the externals is deleted forever or if theres a way to recover it

if theres a way to recover could some1 lead me in the right direction... thanks a lot

Depends what kind of format you did. A quick format just removes the directory database which tells the PC whats on it and where it is, and will overwright data when needed. A full format removes everything.

So if you did a quicky, just google "Data Recovery" "Un-format" "Un-delete" or "Format recovery".

Good luck!

If you don't add anything new to the drive you can probably recover some stuff. Google data recovery or undelete.
