I just bought a lexmark x6150 printer and i'm having some issues. It prints black and white fine, but won't print in colour. I've replaced both cartridges. I can't get to the support site either, because my phone doesn't have enough memory. And it's outside phone tech support hours too. Any help?

Take the colour cartridge out and check that there isn't some plastic film over the contacts. Kinda obvious thing to do before putting it in but I've forgotten in the past to take that film off cartridges.

lexmark printers always seem to have some sort of cartridge problem with them - mine did and so did my boyfriend's and my brother's. personally, i'd take it back and then get a hp or something like that.

Have you checked to see whether it's printing in black and white mode or colour mode?  Double check the print settings next time you try to print something.  Or, it could be that the print heads are clogged.

This sounds like it's probably an issue for tech support though.
