I just got an ipod shuffel and was wondering how long I should let it load. I mean, it says that the battery is full, but there's some urban myth about neding to leave new equipment on the power for 24 hours, or it'll ruin the battery.

The battery went bye bye after a year with my old ipod, so I'd love some help. It's been on the power for about an hour and a half

Key word, 'Urban myth'

It doesn't matter, as far as I'm concerned.
