format it. deleting files wont do. FORMAT.

so i just right click and press format like a floppy?

um how long will this take and is there any risk i'll ruin my pc

btw luv your avatars. maggie g ftw (even if that isnt really her)

there is no chance of it ruining your computer, unless you are trying to format the C: drive, or whatever drive your operating system is installed on. But you said you already deleted everything else, so I'm assuming that your OS isn't on there.

Formatting it, although you will never completely clear it, it will always have hidden system files that enable the disk to run.

i dont think you can ever make it 100% empty. But when you say you deleted everything, do you mean that you actually deleted the files, or did you format the disk?

deleted the files

okay, then you need to format the disk. that will get rid of everything on it. to format the disk, go into my computer and right click the disk that you want to format, then just scroll down to "format," and that should take care of it.
