vista is the fat kid n gym class of OS's. i am so sick of people saying "i have 4 gigs of ram baby" its cuz you need that much to run that vista crap! i have 2 gigs for my mac and it is lighting fast!
MAC ALL THE WAY!

Vista will also run anything your mac will run, plus software that isn't available for mac. Sure you could dual boot, but it wont be as fast. You will never be able to game like you can on a PC either.

Windows 7 is 2011. XP dies in 2009 IIRC.

I ran Vista very well with only 1.5GB RAM, on a AMD64 3500 and 8600GT with Aero on.

It's all into how you use the computer.

Some find XP friendly for most uses (hell I do hands down)
Some find Vista friendlier then XP.

but microsoft fucked up on somethings. i have to agree with that.

Agree, They fixed some things about XP that makes vista cool.

However they changed other things which are just a piss off.

like killing telnet, and alot of network capibilitys. also it doesnt like to run alot of perl files.
