Also, I read something about windows boot camp?  What is that?  Would it hurt my system if I got it (because the main purpose of this computer is for schoolwork, so I don't want to mess anything up)? Can I run Sims 2 fine without this? Answers to any of my questions would be much appreciated, thank you.

Macbook Pros would. rickyspeople Posted at 8:38 am on Aug. 29, 2008 sims 2 for  mac os x is converted by something called aspyre, and it works fine. mind you, add-ons that you can buy or get free from the EA website and formatted ONLY for windows. found that out too late. almost all the expansion packs are available for mac, but only 1 or 2 of the fun stuff packs are.
