The fan is running like crazy and nothing I do cools it down. Last night I only had itunes on and about 10 min later it it was so hot the song started to skip. Anyone else had this problem?

Not yet. I have been downloading alot lately so that could be it... I highly doubt it. It should never cause problems like that, and I'm an avid downloader. I rip movies and convert files a lot and those are pretty processor intensive. It seems like there's a hardware fault, which can happen. You need to contact Apple or go to your nearest Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider to get it checked out and fixed. This is not a normal occurrence. When did you get it? As far as I know there has been no recall apart from the batteries. If you ring up Apple and explain the situation, or take it into the Apple store they should be able to fix it or exchange it for you as long as you're within the 1yr warranty, or you have purchased AppleCare.
